Since 1985, Communities In Schools has been the only stay in school program serving the El Paso area. To ensure student success and target the dropout problem, CIS implements its program model, mission, Six Components, Social Services and Five CIS Basics. CIS serves as the liaison between the community and the schools to improve in the areas of academics, behavior, and attendance.
The mission of CIS of El Paso is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
